Is £3,000 the price for both qualifications?

Yes, £3,000 covers both the ProQual Level 6 and Level 7 Diplomas in Aesthetic Practice. We’ll confirm your package details and learner agreement in writing before you pay. You’ll need to meet the entry requirements for each qualification.

Are these regulated qualifications or CPD courses?

Accepted Answer

Both are Ofqual-regulated qualifications awarded by ProQual. You’ll complete assessments and a portfolio of evidence, which go through quality assurance. We also offer shorter CPD courses, but these are separate from the two diplomas.

I have five years’ experience. Can I start at Level 6?

You can apply directly for Level 6 if you have at least five years’ relevant aesthetics experience. We’ll ask for evidence of your previous training and experience during enrolment.

Do I need to be a nurse or doctor?

Accepted Answer

There are entry routes for both medical and non-medical practitioners. We’ll look at your qualifications and experience with you to check whether you meet the requirements. Level 7 has its own entry checks and initial assessment.

How does the blended learning work?

You’ll do online theory and independent study alongside practical learning at our Derby academy. You’ll need to attend for four days for Level 6 and four days for Level 7, so eight academy days altogether. We’ll talk through dates, study time and your learning plan before you enrol.

How are my academy dates arranged?

We’ll talk through the available dates before you enrol so you can plan around your clinic and other commitments. You’ll attend for four days per qualification, with online study and portfolio work to complete as well.

Can assessment take place at my own clinic?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I can come to your clinic to assess you if you have suitable clinic space. We’ll check the space and discuss the assessment arrangements and travel costs before agreeing a visit.

What support will I have while I study?

Accepted Answer

You’ll have tutor guidance and feedback from your assessor as you work through the theory, practical learning and portfolio. I lead the academy and Sam supports our students and helps with quality assurance. We’ll show you how to get help when you enrol.

How will I be assessed?

Accepted Answer

You’ll complete written work, case evidence and practical assessments, along with discussions or questions where the qualification requires them. Your assessor will give you feedback and help you understand what evidence you need in your portfolio.

Which specialist treatments will I study at Level 6?

Accepted Answer

Alongside the core subjects, you’ll study at least three specialist treatment units. The qualification includes options such as microneedling, chemical peels, mesotherapy, skin boosting and non-surgical fat reduction. We’ll agree which units are in your learning plan before you enrol.

How long will the package take?

That depends on your experience, Level 6 units, study time and how your assessments are going. We’ll agree a realistic learning plan with you. You’ll need to complete all the required work and assessments, including quality assurance, so we can’t promise a fixed pass date.

Can I discuss payment arrangements?

Of course. Just mention it when you enquire and we’ll talk through the available options and payment terms with you.

Will the qualifications automatically let me practise every treatment?

Accepted Answer

You’ll still need the right competence, insurance and professional scope for the treatments you offer, as well as prescribing arrangements where needed. The relevant legal requirements also apply. We’ll talk this through with you before you enrol.
