Is £3,000 the price for both qualifications?

Yes. £3,000 is the combined package price for the ProQual Level 6 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice and the ProQual Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice. Ask the academy for your written package details and learner agreement before making a payment. Entry requirements apply to each qualification.

Question 2

Are these regulated qualifications or CPD courses?

Accepted Answer

Both diplomas are Ofqual-regulated qualifications awarded by ProQual. They involve formal assessment, a portfolio of evidence and quality assurance. Our shorter CPD courses are separate professional-development options.

Question 3

I have five years’ experience. Can I start at Level 6?

You may be eligible through the taught experience route. Your experience must be relevant and verifiable, with evidence of competence in the treatments required by the entry criteria. We review that evidence and carry out a documented trade test before enrolment.

Do I need to be a nurse or doctor?

Accepted Answer

There are entry routes for both medical and non-medical applicants who meet the qualification requirements. We assess your qualifications, relevant experience and readiness to study. Progression to Level 7 requires its own entry checks and initial assessment.

How does the blended learning work?

Both qualifications use blended learning, combining online theory and independent study with practical learning at the academy. You’ll be required to attend our Derby academy for four days per qualification: four days for Level 6 and four days for Level 7, eight academy days in total. We’ll discuss dates, study workload and your individual learning plan before enrolment.

How are my academy dates arranged?

We’ll discuss available academy dates and your learning plan before enrolment, so you can plan around your clinic and other commitments. The practical attendance is four days for each qualification; your online study and portfolio work sit alongside those days.

Question 7

Can assessment take place at my own clinic?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Lorah can visit your clinic to carry out assessment if you have suitable clinic space. We’ll discuss the suitability of your space, assessment arrangements and travel costs before agreeing a visit.

What support will I have while I study?

Accepted Answer

You’ll have tutor guidance and assessor feedback as you work through your theory, practical learning and portfolio. Lorah leads the academy, with Samantha supporting students and centre quality assurance. We’ll explain how to access your learning support when you enrol.

How will I be assessed?

Accepted Answer

Assessment brings together written work, case evidence, practical observations and professional discussion or questioning, as required by each qualification. Your portfolio shows how you meet the learning outcomes, with assessor feedback to guide your progress.

Question 10

Which specialist treatments will I study at Level 6?

Accepted Answer

You’ll study the required core areas and at least three specialist treatment units, with your combination agreed with the academy before enrolment. Specification options include microneedling, chemical peels, mesotherapy, skin boosting and non-surgical fat reduction. We’ll explain the units included in your individual learning plan.

How long will the package take?

Completion depends on your starting point, selected Level 6 units, study time, practical evidence and assessment progress. We’ll agree a realistic learning plan after reviewing your experience. Both qualifications require all relevant outcomes to be met and quality assurance to be completed; there is no automatic or guaranteed pass date.

Yes. Our academy team can talk you through the available payment options and terms as part of your package enquiry.

Question 13

Will the qualifications automatically let me practise every treatment?

Accepted Answer

No. The qualifications demonstrate achievement of their assessed requirements. Treatment practice still depends on competence, professional scope, insurance, prescribing arrangements where relevant, and applicable law. We’ll explain the distinction before you enrol.
