The ProQual Level 6 Certificate in Skin Boosting Treatments is a nationally recognised, Ofqual-regulated qualification created for experienced beauty and aesthetics practitioners who want to develop their knowledge, confidence and clinical competence in subcutaneous skin booster treatments.

This course is suitable for experienced practitioners who want to:

Entry requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following entry routes:
Hold the ProQual Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Treatments and Skin Science, or an equivalent qualification
or
Have at least five years of verifiable experience working within the beauty or aesthetics industry
All applicants will complete an initial assessment before enrolment. You may be asked to provide copies of previous qualifications, certificates, identification and evidence of relevant industry experience.
Learners must also hold appropriate first aid and anaphylaxis training before completing practical assessments.

The qualification is assessed on a pass or refer basis. Your work will be assessed and internally quality assured by Urban Angel Aesthetics Academy before being subject to ProQual’s external quality assurance process.

Qualification duration
The qualification has:
225 Total Qualification Time hours
170 Guided Learning Hours
Learners are given up to 12 months to complete the programme. Completion time will depend on previous experience, assessment progress, attendance and the time required to build a complete portfolio of evidence.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Some learners may already have completed units that appear within another ProQual qualification.
Where appropriate, previous regulated learning and valid evidence may be reviewed through Recognition of Prior Learning. RPL is not automatic and all evidence must meet the qualification’s current assessment requirements.
